A Reason To Survive (ARTS) is built on the foundation that the arts heal, inspire and empower. It is through the arts that we help children facing life challenges.

ARTS believes that the creative process of the arts is therapeutic, but we're not art therapists. We provide a safe, nurturing and fun environment where kids work with positive adult mentors in visual, performing and literary art mediums.

Artists, musicians, poets and more, teach kids techniques and concepts so they can explore their creativity, express themselves and create something of themselves.

As a non-profit organization, ARTS is able to support children facing challenges only through the generosity of the community. ARTS patrons include individuals and families, foundations, small businesses to large corporations and a wide range of community leaders.

The continued support of ARTS from its many patrons is a testimony to the visible and documented success of our goals. While ARTS is free to participating children, it takes substantial resources to support the programs, supplies, ARTS Center, transportation program and more. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference in the life of a child.

Our donor programs reflect the ability and desires/needs of our donors. Not only does ARTS accept monetary donations, but welcomes in-kind gifts, planned giving, matching gifts, corporate partners, support / membership programs and endowment gifts.
